Digital Capability Manager

Are you passionate about executing organisational wide digital training programs?
You will help the organisation achieve our vision of a “life without limits” for New Zealanders who are blind or who have low vision.
We are currently seeking an experienced Digital Capability Manager to be based in our Awhina House, Auckland office. This is a full time (37.5 hours per week) position. You will be required to travel to other parts of New Zealand to deliver training as a part of the role.
As a part of the wider Digital and Information Technology Team, the Digital Capability Manager’s focus is to create and execute an organisation wide digital training program and technical support center. As an experienced staff member, you will mentor more junior staff members, provide support, and lead projects assigned. Ongoing reviews of training, support tools and engagement with 3rd party suppliers will also form a big part of the role.
What we are looking for:
- University degree in a relevant field of teaching/training or IT.
- Extensive experience and knowledge of IT gained from on the job experience.
- 10 years + experience delivering adult training in technology.
Significant experience in execution of IT training strategies.
Experience with the Salesforce platform and all related Salesforce products.
A passion for new technology and the initiative to bring new ideas or get involved in projects.
Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.
