Practice Advisor - Deafblind

With over 300 employees and around 6,000 volunteers the Blind Foundation is New Zealand’s leading provider of services and support to people who are blind or have low vision. One of New Zealand’s most trusted and iconic Not for Profit organisations, we need a Practice Advisor - Deafblind to join us. You will help the organisation achieve our vision of a “life without limits” for New Zealanders who are blind or who have low vision.

The practice advisor is key to ensuring professional services are delivered, quality is enhanced and staff are supported in their practice roles. There are requirements to lead service improvement initiatives and engage the team in both practice support and performance enhancement.

This is a permanent, part-time (15 hours per week) position.

What we are looking for:

  • The applicant will be experienced in working with Deafblind clients

  • Have strong team leadership or management experience

  • A strong professional practice background.

  • Excellent interpersonal relationship skills are essential.

  • Travel from time-to-time is required.
